Here is a tasty Malted waffle recipe, courtesy of Disney World’s Fort Wilderness, Trails End Restaurant. This is the best waffle recipe ever, in my opinion.

We were Disney Vacation Club members, so we took two trips a year to Disney World. I have successfully requested and received many of our favorite recipes from the various Disney restaurants.
This is one such recipe, and I’ve added many options in the notes section. Top it with fresh fruit or anything you’d like. If you are adding anything to the batter the fruits or nuts will need to be reduced in size enough to allow the waffle iron will close as intended. Enjoy
Atmosphere:
What better thing to listen to when making these waffles than Disney music.
My favorite is to play the soundtracks from the theme park entrances because it transports you right into Disney!
The music is beautiful, fun, and whimsical.
Tools:
Use whatever waffle maker you have. I personally enjoy Cuisinart appliances, but use whatever works best for you!

Method
- Preheat a waffle iron and grease lightly.
- Sift the flour, sugar, baking powder, malted powder, and salt into a large bowl. Set aside.
- Mix the eggs, melted butter, and milk in a medium bowl.
- Slowly stir the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients until moistened.
- For each waffle, pour about 3/4 cup of batter into a waffle iron, close the lid, and bake until the steaming stops. Most waffle irons have a light indicator letting you know they are done.
- Place the cooked waffle on a plate and cover it with foil. Continue until all the batter is empty. Serve with your favorite toppings.
