Are you looking for the best ravioli recipe? This is my favorite ravioli recipe because it’s a unique twist on an Italian classic.

I love ravioli, but I’ve grown tired of ravioli with tomato sauce and have experimented with options. You probably won’t ever go back to just tomato sauce after trying this recipe.
Atmosphere
Making an Italian meal would not be complete without Dean Martin. I love enjoying a glass of red wine, listening to classic Italian music, and enjoying the process of making one of my favorite dishes.
My favorite music is from the 1950s, but feel free to listen to your favorite music. It really does make cooking so much more enjoyable.
This dish would also be perfect before enjoying Tiramisu for dessert!
Best Ravioli Recipe
This ravioli recipe has one of the most delicious sauces I’ve ever tasted. If you love spinach, mushrooms, and toasted almonds- you will love this. People usually stick to the basics when creating their sauce, but this recipe takes it up a notch.

Hearts of palms is another unique ingredient in this wonderful ravioli dish. They add an extra dimension of flavor and texture that traditional ravioli sauces typically miss. Artichoke hearts and Hearts of Palm always add a fun twist. I love this unusual take on an Italian classic because it teaches there are endless ways to make your favorite dishes.
You can try new adventures of flavor and create masterpieces right in your own kitchen!

Method
- Fill Dutch oven halfway and bring to boil. Cook ravioli according to the package instructions, remove and rinse. I prefer fresh when available.
- Toast almond slivers in a dry pan until light brown, then remove to a plate
- Add grape seed oil to the pan and heat until hot
- Add mushrooms to the pan and saute until water is released from the mushrooms
- When the mushrooms are browned, add the artichokes, capers, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, Hearts of Palm, and Italian seasoning. Saute for three minutes and add the three cups of baby spinach. If the contents are too dry, add a little more oil.
- Add the almonds and stir.
- Add the cooked Mushroom Ravioli and stir until everything is combined.
- Plate the dish and sprinkle parmesan as desired.
